Audiovisual production company created in 2014 by the screenwriter, producer and director Guido Jácome, a benchmark in the Colombian audiovisual industry for 25 years. Our first feature film production; LAS HORAS CONTADAS was purchased exclusively in 2016 for the United States by the HBO channel and its digital platform, premiering in prime time. This film was later sold to the Latin channels Somos TV, to the Retina Latina platform, Amazon, Claro Video, to the Colombian channels Señal Colombia, Canal Uno and Canal Teleantioquia.

The production company also produced the short film Lost in War, El Corto, nominated for official selection at three festivals in 2019: the 4th Film Festival without Borders in Ipiales, Nariño; the 4th Film Festival in the Mountains, Salento, Quindio; and the 9th International Film Festival in Arlington, United States. In 2021 it was an official selection at the Flickfair Film Festival, a digital short film festival in the USA. 


LaVecina has also ventured into the creation, production and direction of several web series such as Café con Leche, a fictional story of the comedy genre, since 2018 on digital platforms; the web series Endema, a success story for the European Union office in Latin America, a format created by the Vega y Jaramillo agency, produced and directed by Lavecina Films; and the web series Vidasposibles, a success story for the Renault brand, created by the Publicis agency, developed and written by LaVecina Films. As well as in the creation and development of digital content, commercials and institutional videos for brands. 


And we are winners of the Abre Cámara del Mintic 2022 call, for the production of a fiction miniseries, and of the Grandes Historias call, for the production of a short film. We also make a presence with our stories in the markets of the Latin American audiovisual industry such as Natpe in Miami, and MipCancún. Always with great reception of our stories and projects.
